The Challenge
The restaurant group had valuable information spread across several systems and locations.
POS platforms contained detailed sales data, finance was managed through the ERP, and customer activity sat within a separate loyalty system.
Each platform provided part of the picture, but reviewing overall performance meant pulling information together manually and comparing reports from different sources.
The group needed one reliable way to understand sales, finance, customer behaviour and location performance together.
Our Approach
We first mapped the information available across the POS, ERP and loyalty platforms and identified the common dimensions needed to connect them.
Locations, dates, products, sales categories, financial structures and customer activity were standardized so information from different systems could be analysed consistently.
Rather than building separate reports directly from each source, the data was brought into a central warehouse to create one reporting model for the group.
The Solution
POS, ERP and loyalty data are brought into a central data warehouse where the information is cleaned, transformed and prepared for reporting.
Power BI then provides a shared view across restaurant locations, combining sales performance, financial results, customer loyalty and operational trends.
The reporting structure allows management to move from a group-level view down to individual locations and reporting periods without switching between separate systems.

The Results
Management now has one place to review information that previously sat across multiple platforms.
Restaurant locations can be compared consistently, sales can be reviewed alongside financial performance, and customer loyalty data adds another layer of insight into commercial trends.
The reporting process requires less manual preparation and gives operational teams quicker access to the information they need for daily and weekly decisions.
