The Challenge
Key logistics processes were being managed through a collection of Excel files.
Shipment information, status updates and operational actions were spread across different spreadsheets, creating repeated data entry and making it harder to understand the current status of an operation without checking several sources.
As the volume of work increased, the spreadsheets became more difficult to maintain and less suitable as the main operational system.
Our Approach
We started by mapping how the team actually used the existing spreadsheets.
Rather than simply recreating Excel in a new interface, we identified the underlying workflow - what information was entered, who needed it, how a shipment moved through different stages and where manual updates were being repeated.
Those processes were then redesigned around a structured application and shared data model.
The Solution
A custom application was built to centralise operational data and manage the logistics workflow from one place.
Shipment information, statuses and operational actions are stored in a structured system instead of separate spreadsheet versions.
The application gives the team a consistent workflow for managing daily activity while creating a cleaner data foundation for reporting, automation and future integrations.

The Results
The team now has one operational system instead of relying on multiple Excel files to manage the same workflow.
Shipment status is easier to follow, information is entered more consistently and teams spend less time checking different files or chasing updates.
The move from spreadsheets to structured workflows also provides a stronger foundation for further automation as the operation grows.
